AI development moves quickly, but AI product development can still crawl. The slowdown usually does not come from typing code. It comes from translation: product intent translated into a deck, a deck translated into tickets, tickets translated into prompts, prompts translated into model behavior, and behavior translated back into stakeholder language when the result is wrong.
